I elicit high level user stories, collaboratively design the user experience and reverse-engineer the business requirements. I am also able to assist or advise in automated and performance testing.

I’ve worked for a broad spectrum of business – Aspect Computing (PISA, ETSA, OCBA, OCPE), AIG, AXA, Aviva, SEEK, CoINVEST, Telstra and Bullseye (Australian Pacific Touring, Captains Choice, Colonial First State). I’m a degree accredited, enthusiastic and committed user experience designer with a background in business analysis, automated testing, performance testing and development. I enjoy conversing with everyone and this by it’s very nature builds lasting relationships, it’s also my way of contributing to building a harmonious project team. My love of people, my ability to adapt to change, my diverse background and my ability to work on-site or remotely is what separates me from the crowd. Building useful, usable and satisfying software systems comes down to knowing and understanding people and how they work.

I’m absolutely obsessed with crafting stakeholder driven user-focused experiences. Stakeholders, IT, marketing and the business love it because it transcends language barriers. It’s logical, practical, visual and technical and is the only methodology that’s fun and truly customer-focused. IT can identify do-ability within a time frame, the business can see exactly what will be delivered and marketing can best identify and create opportunity. Sign-off happens. The process lends itself nicely to staggered deployments where delivering meaningful functionality can be visualised.
